House Leveling Louisiana Solutions Depend on Your Home Type.
The right approach depends on the home’s design, existing support system, access below the structure, soil conditions, moisture, and what has caused the movement.
House Leveling Louisiana Support Repair
Louisiana raised homes rely on piers, beams, and the conditions beneath the house. When supports settle, beams shift, or moisture affects the soil, floors above can move with them.

We Level the House on Support That Doesn’t Move.
Louisiana’s clay swells when it’s wet and shrinks when it’s dry. Shimming a house that sits on that soil only buys time. Cable Lock™ pilings are driven to resistance beneath the moving layer, then the structure is leveled on top of them.

On the job
What a Leveling Job Actually Looks Like.
The foundation repair process follows four clear steps, with one patented system and a crew that does not leave until the site looks right.

Work Site Preparation
We relocate plants from the work area, then create access holes by hand — each roughly the size of a doormat. For your safety, heavy plywood covers are placed over each hole as we complete this phase.
In most cases, no access to the inside of the home is required at this stage.

Driving the Pilings
Piling segments are pressed into the ground at each pre-determined location. With the cable running through the center of each segment, they are driven to the required depth and resistance.
A pile head is then positioned on top, concrete blocks placed directly under the foundation — and we’re ready to level. Interior access to 4–5 electrical outlets on separate circuits is required during this phase.

Leveling the Structure
An experienced Cable Lock technician directs the raise while trained crew members carefully monitor the structure’s reactions in real time.
Level readings are taken throughout the process — not just at the start and end. Once the structure is in position, work moves to the final stage.

Final Stage
Steel spacers are inserted on the concrete blocks to permanently support the structure. The access holes are backfilled and any surface concrete is replaced cleanly.
Plants are replanted, and the work areas, walks, and driveway are cleaned before the crew leaves. The job isn’t done until the site looks right.
Anatomy of a support
From the Piling up, Every Layer Has a Job.
Each support is built in layers — the piling, the pile head, concrete blocks and steel spacers — so your home rests on something that isn’t riding the clay.

House leveling Louisiana FAQs
House Leveling Louisiana: Straight Answers Before You Decide.
How do I know whether my house needs leveling?
Sloping floors, sticking doors, shifting trim, cracks, soft spots, and visible support movement below a raised home can all be reasons to schedule an evaluation. An inspection helps determine whether foundation movement is involved.
What is the difference between foundation leveling and house leveling?
Foundation leveling often refers to stabilizing and lifting affected areas of a slab foundation. House leveling can also include raised homes where piers, beams, and crawlspace supports need attention. The inspection determines which conditions apply to your home.
How long does foundation or house leveling take?
The schedule depends on the size of the house, repair plan, access, number of affected areas, and the conditions found beneath the home. Your estimate should explain the expected timeline for your property.
Will leveling cause new cracks or damage?
The structure is raised gradually and carefully to help avoid unnecessary stress. Existing finishes may already show signs of past movement, which is why the goal is to correct the underlying support issue safely rather than rush the lift.
Does Cable Lock offer financing and a warranty?
Financing options are available through Hearth for qualifying customers. Qualifying Cable Lock work also includes a lifetime transferable warranty. Your estimator can explain how each applies to the repair plan recommended for your home.
